How Datahyena meters public API usage.
Datahyena meters public API usage by returned records — 1 credit per record returned (a funding round, acquisition, or exec-move). A single-record GET /{id} costs 1 credit.
If a workspace has fewer credits remaining than the requested limit, the API returns only the records the workspace can afford, and meta.creditsRemaining reflects the balance after the call.
Failed requests do not consume credits — you are only charged for records actually returned.
